Nannochloropsis (Nannochloropsis gaditana) is a small, hardy, non-motile green microalga
widely used in marine aquaculture and reef keeping. It is especially valued for its
high EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) content, stability, and ease of culture,
making it an ideal everyday “workhorse” phytoplankton.
