About CoralBay

CoralBay is a UK-based reefing project built around patience, care, and a genuine passion for growing healthy corals.
Here you’ll find a carefully curated collection of corals grown in Woodley, Reading (UK), under stable reef conditions.

My journey into marine life began like many reef keepers’ journeys do — with fascination, trial and error, and plenty of lessons along the way.
Over time, as my understanding grew, so did the health, colour, and growth of my corals.
Watching a reef slowly come to life is still one of the most rewarding parts of this hobby.

A Focus on Healthy, Well-Grown Corals

I never expected to run more than one tank, yet today I do.
One system is dedicated to SPS corals, while two additional tanks allow me to grow and care for other species properly.
Keeping SPS and LPS together can be challenging, so separate systems allow each coral type to thrive under the right conditions.

My name is Paul.
I’m not a large-scale importer, a coral flipper, or a commercial coral farm.
I’m simply a reef hobbyist who enjoys growing corals well.
When corals are healthy, stable, and ready to move on, they become available in the CoralBay shop.

CoralBay is also home to Community Corals — a UK-first space where reef keepers can buy and sell corals directly with one another.
Listings are shared by hobbyists, with flexible pricing and direct contact between buyer and seller.
