My journey into marine life began a few years ago with a fascination for corals. Like many reef keepers, the early days weren’t easy — but every challenge became a lesson. Over time, as my understanding grew, so did the health, colour, and growth of my corals. Watching a reef slowly come to life is still one of the most rewarding parts of this hobby.
I never expected to run more than one tank, yet today I do. One system is dedicated to SPS corals, while two additional tanks allow me to grow and care for other species properly. Keeping SPS and LPS together can be challenging, so separate systems allow each coral type to thrive under the right conditions.
If you have corals you’d like to share, I’d love to hear from you. Whether it’s exchanging ideas, comparing growth, or even displaying your corals alongside mine, I’m always open to a conversation. I’m also happy to feature selected hobbyist-grown corals on the website, with a setup that’s simple and easy to manage.
My name is Paul, and I’m not a large-scale importer, a coral flipper, or a commercial farm. I’m simply a reef hobbyist who enjoys growing corals well. When they’re healthy, stable, and ready to move on, they become available in the CoralBay shop.
