These Terms & Conditions explain how CoralBay UK operates and how different areas of the platform are used.
By accessing CoralBay UK, creating an account, placing an order, submitting a listing, contacting another user or otherwise using the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About CoralBay UK
CoralBay UK is a UK-based platform dedicated to marine and reef aquarium hobbyists.
The platform may include:

Some areas of CoralBay UK operate as a traditional online shop, while other areas allow users to connect directly with each other.

3. Orders & Payments
Orders placed through CoralBay checkout are subject to product availability and acceptance.
CoralBay UK reserves the right to decline, cancel or refund any order where necessary, including in cases of pricing errors, stock issues, suspected misuse, payment problems or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Payment must be successfully received before dispatch.
Approved Vendor products may be packed and shipped directly by the vendor, however CoralBay’s published policies continue to apply unless clearly stated otherwise.
4. Product Descriptions & Images
We aim to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and information are accurate and representative.
However:

corals are living organisms,
-
natural variation should be expected,
-
colours may appear differently under different lighting conditions,
-
photographs may be affected by camera settings, filters and aquarium lighting.
Minor differences in appearance, colouration, growth pattern or size do not constitute a fault.
Product images should be considered representative unless specifically stated otherwise.
5. Aquarium Care & Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their aquarium is suitable for any livestock purchased.
This includes:

water quality,

compatibility,
-
lighting,
-
flow,
-
feeding requirements,
-
acclimation procedures,
-
ongoing husbandry.
CoralBay UK cannot be responsible for livestock losses resulting from aquarium conditions, compatibility issues, acclimation methods or other factors outside our control after delivery.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping methods, dispatch schedules and delivery arrangements are explained in our Shipping, Collection & Delivery Information page.
By placing an order through CoralBay checkout, you agree to the shipping arrangements applicable to that order.
7. Refunds, Returns & Dead On Arrival (DOA)
Refund, return and DOA procedures are explained in our Refunds, Returns & DOA Policy.
By placing an order through CoralBay checkout, you agree to the terms outlined within that policy.
8. Community Corals
Community Corals allows reef hobbyists to advertise corals directly to other hobbyists.
CoralBay UK provides the listing and contact platform but is not the seller of Community Coral listings.
Any agreement relating to:

payment,

collection,
-
delivery,
-
livestock condition,
-
refunds,
-
replacements,
-
disputes,
is made directly between the buyer and seller.
CoralBay UK does not inspect, verify or guarantee livestock listed through Community Corals.
9. Marine Marketplace
Marine Marketplace provides a platform for marine aquarium hobbyists to advertise equipment, livestock, tank breakdowns and other reef-related items.
Unless purchased through CoralBay checkout, Marketplace listings are private user-generated listings.
CoralBay UK is not the seller of Marketplace items and is not a party to private transactions between users.
Buyers and sellers are responsible for conducting their own checks before entering into any transaction.
10. User Accounts & Listings
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and keeping login details secure.
Any listing submitted to CoralBay UK must:

be truthful,

be lawful,
-
accurately represent the item being offered,
-
relate to marine or saltwater aquarium keeping.
Where possible, photographs should represent the actual item or livestock being offered.
11. Prohibited Content
CoralBay UK does not permit content that is:

misleading,
-
fraudulent,
-
illegal,
-
unsafe,
-
offensive,
-
abusive,
-
misleadingly represented,
-
unrelated to marine aquarium keeping.
CoralBay UK reserves the right to edit, suspend, hide, remove or refuse any listing, account, content or feature that it believes is misleading, inappropriate, unsafe, unlawful, fraudulent or not relevant to marine aquarium keeping.
12. User-to-User Transactions
CoralBay UK encourages fair, honest and responsible trading.
However, CoralBay UK acts only as a platform through which users may connect.
For Community Corals and Marine Marketplace transactions:

CoralBay UK is not a party to the agreement,
-
CoralBay UK does not guarantee outcomes,
-
CoralBay UK cannot guarantee item condition,
-
CoralBay UK cannot guarantee livestock health,
-
CoralBay UK cannot guarantee collection or delivery arrangements.
Users should carry out their own checks before entering into any transaction.
13. Accuracy of Information
We work hard to keep CoralBay UK accurate and useful.
However, we cannot guarantee that every listing, directory entry, route result, stock status, user submission or third-party information source will always be complete, current or error-free.
Users should independently verify information before relying upon it.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoralBay UK shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses arising from use of the website, user-generated listings, third-party transactions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
15. Changes to the Website & Terms
CoralBay UK is actively developed and may add, modify, suspend or remove features at any time.
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Continued use of the website following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
