These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the CoralBay UK website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

About Us

CoralBay UK is a UK-based supplier of marine aquarium livestock, including corals, invertebrates, and live phytoplankton.

All products are supplied for use in established marine aquarium systems only.

Orders & Payment

  • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

  • Payment must be received in full before an order is processed or dispatched.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or stock availability issues.

Product Descriptions & Images

We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph our products. However:

  • Corals are natural, living organisms and will vary in colour, shape, and size.

  • Lighting, water conditions, and photography can significantly affect appearance.

  • Images are provided as a general representation only unless explicitly stated as WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).

Minor variations do not constitute grounds for refund or replacement.

Livestock Care & Responsibility

Once delivered, responsibility for livestock care, acclimation, and ongoing husbandry rests with the customer.

We strongly recommend:

  • appropriate acclimation procedures

  • stable water parameters

  • quarantine where applicable

CoralBay UK cannot be held responsible for losses resulting from unsuitable tank conditions, incompatibility, or husbandry practices.

Shipping & Delivery

Dispatch days, shipping methods, and delivery expectations are detailed on our Shipping & Delivery page.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

  • live livestock shipments require timely receipt

  • missed or delayed deliveries may invalidate eligibility for refunds or DOA claims

Shipping timelines are estimates and not guarantees.

Refunds, Returns & DOA

Due to the perishable nature of live marine livestock:

  • returns are not accepted

  • refunds and replacements are subject to our Refunds, Returns & DOA Policy

That policy forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.

Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled prior to dispatch.

Once an order has been packed or handed to the courier, cancellation is no longer possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • CoralBay UK shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • liability is limited to the value of the products supplied

Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights where applicable.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The version published on the website at the time of purchase will apply to that order.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
