CoralBay isn't just a shop.
It's a free platform built to help UK reefers discover what's available across the UK reefing community and retailers.
We'd really like you to know what's here — and, if it's useful to you, use it!
Our latest addition, and one we're particularly proud of, is UK REEF MARKET.
Instead of visiting shop after shop looking for a particular coral, fish or invert, UK Reef Market brings together products from dozens of UK reef retailers in one place.
Search for a particular coral or fish, compare prices, see what's new, find a retailer that has what you're looking for — and then buy directly from that retailer.
It also works alongside other free CoralBay tools:
📍 Reef Shops — discover reef shops around the UK
🚗 Reef Route Finder — planning a journey? See reef shops, corals and marketplace items available along your route
A free CoralBay account is required to use the full UK Reef Market, but you can visit the page without logging in to see a preview of what it offers.
Have a look — you may find something you didn't know was available.
Send a quick question to the seller by email through CoralBay.
★★★★☆
AAC is clearly a long-established and respected reef store with a strong reputation within the UK hobby. A huge amount of work and investment has obviously gone into the livestock systems, aquaculture side of the business and the overall setup over many years.
Personally, during my visit I did feel the atmosphere was slightly more watchful than relaxed while browsing. However, after speaking with the owner afterwards, I now better understand this is partly due to previous theft and fraud incidents the store has unfortunately experienced — something that many public-facing aquarium shops increasingly seem to face.
That context does help explain my earlier impression, and I appreciate the openness and explanation provided afterwards.
Many reef keepers clearly enjoy visiting AAC and may have a very different experience, so as always I would encourage others to share factual and constructive feedback of their own.
