Facebook Login on CoralBay UK
Sign in quickly with Facebook without losing track of your CoralBay activity. Whether you are joining for the first time or connecting Facebook to an existing account, this guide explains the right steps.
Once Facebook is linked to the correct CoralBay account, your listings, messages, purchases and reviews stay with that same account.
Start with the right account
One CoralBay account, two ways to sign in
Facebook Login is an alternative way to access CoralBay. It is not a separate marketplace account and it does not replace your listings or messages.
Easy sign-in
Use the Facebook sign-in button instead of typing your CoralBay password each time.
Your CoralBay activity stays together
When you link Facebook to your existing CoralBay account, its listings, conversations and transactions remain attached to that account.
Facebook is optional
You can still register or sign in using the usual CoralBay email and password method. A Facebook account is not required to use CoralBay.
Option 1 | New users
Create a new CoralBay account with Facebook
Choose this only if you do not already have a CoralBay account.
Register with Facebook
- Visit My Account while signed out of CoralBay.
- Select Continue with Facebook.
- Sign in to Facebook if requested and review the authorisation prompt.
- Complete any CoralBay account setup or email verification steps shown.
Start using CoralBay
Once setup is complete, the new CoralBay account is associated with the Facebook identity you authorised. You can use that Facebook identity for future sign-ins.
Your account provides access to features such as Community Corals, Marine Marketplace, messages, your purchases and account settings, subject to the usual feature requirements.
Optional: You can also arrange an email-and-password sign-in for your CoralBay account, explained further below.
Already registered with CoralBay? Do not use this registration route to try to merge accounts. Sign in to your existing CoralBay account and follow Option 2 below.
Option 2 | Existing members
Link Facebook to your existing CoralBay account
This is the recommended route if you have already listed corals, exchanged messages, placed orders or otherwise used CoralBay.
Important: sign in to CoralBay first
Log in with your normal CoralBay details before choosing Link Facebook. This tells CoralBay exactly which existing account should be connected. Simply having the same email address on Facebook is not a reliable account-linking method.
Follow these steps
- Log in to your existing CoralBay account in the usual way.
- Open My Account > Account Details.
- Find the Link Facebook option and select it.
- Complete the Facebook sign-in and authorisation steps.
- Return to CoralBay. Your linked Facebook identity can now be used for future sign-ins to this same account.
What stays with your account?
Linking Facebook changes how you sign in, not which CoralBay account owns your activity.
Your existing Community Corals and Marine Marketplace listings, CoralBay Messages, purchases, reviews and account settings remain attached to the account you linked.
Useful check: After linking, sign out and try Continue with Facebook. You should arrive at your existing CoralBay account.

What if Facebook does not provide an email address?
Some Facebook accounts do not return a usable email address to the sign-in service. CoralBay has a verification process for this situation when you are creating a new account.
If Facebook supplies your email
During new-account registration, CoralBay's Facebook integration can recognise that supplied address and mark it as verified. You will normally continue through registration without needing a second email confirmation.
If you enter your email manually
CoralBay may ask you to provide an email address. A verification message is then sent to that address. You must follow the verification link before Facebook sign-in is allowed for that new account.
Not signed in after registering? Check the inbox and spam folder of the address you entered, and complete the email verification. If you have not verified yet, CoralBay may direct you to its Facebook email verification page.
Keep a second sign-in option
Can I also use an email address and password?
Yes. Facebook sign-in and the normal CoralBay password login are two different ways to authenticate. Your Facebook password is not automatically your CoralBay password.
If you already have a CoralBay password
Keep using your email and password as normal, or use Facebook once it has been linked. Both methods lead to the same account.
If you registered through Facebook
Sign in with Facebook and open Account Details to review your password options. If a current password is requested and you do not know it, use the Lost your password? link from the My Account login page to set one through your verified email address.

What Facebook Login means for your information
Facebook handles its own password
When you authenticate with Facebook, you complete Facebook's sign-in process. You do not type your Facebook password into a CoralBay password field.
Review what you authorise
Facebook may provide basic profile details and an email address, depending on permissions and availability. Review the authorisation screen before continuing.
Keep another login method
If you intend to stop using Facebook, make sure you can sign in to CoralBay with your email and password first. Avoid losing access to your account.

Frequently asked questions
Will Facebook Login create a second CoralBay account?
If you are already registered, using Facebook from the signed-out registration flow is not a safe way to link accounts. It may be rejected or take you to a different account. Sign in to your existing account first and use Link Facebook.
Why was I asked to verify my email?
Facebook may not share a valid email address. If you enter one manually during new registration, CoralBay needs you to confirm that you own it before you can log in.
What if the Facebook button does not work?
Try opening CoralBay directly in Safari or Chrome rather than inside another app's built-in browser. Check that you can sign in to Facebook, that browser cookies are enabled and that you have completed any required email verification.
What if I no longer have access to Facebook?
Use your CoralBay email-and-password sign-in if you have one. Otherwise try the password reset option using your verified CoralBay email address. If neither works, contact CoralBay support.
Does linking Facebook remove my messages or listings?
No. If you link while signed in to the correct existing account, that account keeps its CoralBay content, messages and transaction history.
Do I need Facebook to use CoralBay?
No. Facebook Login is an optional convenience. You can use CoralBay with its normal account registration and login methods.
