Live Rock – Established, Bio-Active
This live rock originates from our own established reef aquariums, where it has been maintained long-term under stable reef conditions.
Unlike sterile dry rock, this rock is already biologically active, with mature biofilms, nitrifying bacteria, and surface microfauna that help new or existing systems stabilise more quickly.
The rock has been continuously submerged and maintained in a live reef environment, allowing natural bacterial populations to develop and mature over time.

Shipping:
This item can be added to a coral or phytoplankton order. The live rock will be removed at the time of dispatch and packed in a sealed plastic bag with a bit of water to prevent drying during transit.
Quantity & Size
Each order includes one piece of established live rock, approximately half-fist sized.
Pieces may vary in shape and form and can include branch-like sections, flatter pieces, or small boulder-style fragments, depending on availability at the time of dispatch.
The selected piece will be chosen to safely fit within the shipping packaging used for coral or phytoplankton orders, ensuring it can be transported securely in water without drying out.
